If you want to get technical, all bonsai are just little trees in pots. What makes a bonsai art is the intent behind it’s shaping and growth.
I’m just a beginner, but even I can see that you’re just being pretentious. Yes, many bonsai styles have certain guidelines, but with all the styles in the world there isn’t just one way of doing things, and even working within a certain style if you constrain yourself too much to the rules you risk deleting the creativity and art from the bonsai.

A bonsai must respect a lot of rules! The form of roots system is orrible, the body have to be conic and in this case it isn’t, and all the rest is without sense… Also the pot is an orrible plastic thing!

Hi,
Jades are succulents and store water. They tolerate drying out very well. I have some Jades and they get watered almost every day with my bonsai. But mine are growing in sphagnum moss, which has different water holding properties than soil. If in soil, I would think you could stretch out the watering schedule. I would advise to have good drainage and don’t let the bottom of the pot sit in water.
